Jesus Loves You.

It’s 90-something degrees outside and I’m running back and forth, in and out of my apartment, carrying things out as fast as I can, trying to meet a deadline. Sweat dripping down my face and burning in my eyes, I have three words going ’round-and-’round my head.

“Jesus loves you.”

All of the thousands of times I’ve heard those three words, the countless time I’ve read them in books, sung them in songs, told my little brothers and sister when they were little toddlers, and it’s taken me 20 full years for me to really think about it. Jesus, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Creator of everything we can see, smell, touch, hear and taste and oh so much more and He. really. loves. me.

How incredibly awesome is that?
